Chief Operations Officer

Organization Description:
SAW Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a skilled and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations across our Adult Day Services, Vocational Habilitation, Community Integration, and Group Employment programs. This executive leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with experience in disability services or human services operations.

Position Description:
As COO, you will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, ensuring that every program supports the independence, inclusion, and dignity of individuals with developmental disabilities (DD/IDD).
Duties:
- Provide executive oversight for day-to-day operations across all program areas.
- Lead strategic initiatives aligned with SAW Inc.’s mission and growth goals.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver requirements, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), Department of Labor, and other regulatory bodies.
- Supervise a cross-functional leadership team, including: AAC Managers (Adult Activity Centers) RN/LPN clinical staff Strategic Initiatives Project Manager Sales & Contracts Manager
- Oversee program budgets, operational performance, and continuous quality improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funding agencies, and stakeholders.
- Champion a person-centered, inclusive, and outcomes-driven culture across all services.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in public/business administration, social sciences, or related field.
- 10+ years of senior leadership in developmental disabilities, human services, or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of Home and Community Based Services waiver requirements (preferred).
- Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and ensure compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Travel:
Occasional travel is required to agency facilities and meetings throughout the state.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
