Position Description:

Our Agency is searching for an Employment Navigator Join our Agency and make a positive difference in the lives of others, as well as your own.

Duties:

Employment Navigation within Service and Support Administration (SSA) responsibilities:

Assists with planning, authorizing, and monitoring of employment supports for job seekers with developmental disabilities in their local communities.
Develops relationships and network with Providers, employers, OOD, Ohio Means Jobs, volunteer programs, and other community partners who can assist a person served in achieving their individual employment outcomes.
Coordinates the delivery of various services specific to the individual (IO, SL, SELF, Level 1, Day Support, Transition Service, etc.).
Maintains a comprehensive understanding of where each job seeker being supported is on the Path to Employment and use that insight to facilitate the development and coordination of short and long term supports that assist job seekers in progressing toward vocational goals (including career advancement).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
Availability of personal vehicle for routine and crisis response
Travel within Lake County

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications of candidate
