Position Description:
Coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of DD funded Services, responsible for staff recruitment and training. Responsible for developing and monitoring budgets and program planning. Provides oversight to all program sites either directly or via supervisors. Provides direction for PR activities related to services
Duties:
1. Staff recruitment and development.
2. Directs and oversees the activities of supervisors and coordinators.
3. Oversees maintenance of program statistics and records.
4. Oversees budgeting and other administrative functions for the department.
5. Develops and implements annual department goals.
6. Monitors and ensures that department operations are compliant with CARF and Medicaid standards.
7. Other duties as assigned.
PERODICAL DUTIES:
1. Provides back-up coverage for staff supervised when needed.
2. Works with internal departments to ensure consumers are progressing towards competitive employment
3. After hours attendance in marketing and PR events.
4. Ensures service billing is accurately reflecting contract expectations as well as Medicaid
Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
MA degree in Social Services area, plus 3 years' experience in DD Services; or B.A. in Social Service area plus 6 years' experience in DD Services.
KNOWLEDGE:
1. Knowledge of supervision and management techniques;
2. Knowledge of work/personal adjustment methodology, disabilities and functional limitations;
3. Familiarity with case management systems;
4. Familiarity and experience with budgeting and fiscal management processes;
5. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
6. Must be knowledgeable of Medicaid rules and billing requirements as well as standards for compliance.
7. Must satisfactorily pass criminal background check as well as various registry checks.

Driving: Up to 3 Hours per day
